Justin Wilford
Justin Wilford, Ph.D, is a cultural geographer whose work focuses on the intersection of religious community and the material environment, and more specifically on the ways social meaning is constructed and maintained in post-metropolitan, post-suburban space.
He is the author of Sacred Subdivisions: The Postsuburban Transformation of American Evangelicalism (NYU Press, 2012) . While teaching cultural geography at UCLA, he is working on a project that explores everyday narratives and performances—including the role of religious meaning—in medical environments.
