The UC Riverside Center for Ideas and Society presents a panel discussion, "Communing and Community: Toward a Syncretic View of Immigrant Prayer in the California Southland" on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. at UC Riverside.

The panel brings together experts in Asian American studies, political science, and religious studies to respond to the Pew Forum's report, "Asian Americans: A Mosaic of Faiths," which was published in the summer.

Panelists include Dr. Karthick Ramakrishnan (UCR), Dr. James Kyung-Jin Lee (University of California, Irvine), Charles Townsend (UCR), and Dr. Amanda Huffer (UCR)
