Regional Centers
The Pentecostal and Charismatic Research Initiative (PCRI) request for proposals (RFP) for regional centers is designed to provide a scholarly framework based in the social sciences and financial support for research into Pentecostal and charismatic Christianity in four specific geographic regions: Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the former Soviet Union.
Applicants may request up to $500,000 over two years (24 months) to support or establish research networks and centers, although not all projects can be supported at this level. Budgets must reflect local living standards. PCRI will award up to seven center grants. $2,000,000 in grant funding is available for the regional center RFP. (Please see the Frequently Asked Questions page for additional information on eligible regions.)
The PCRI judges reviewed letters of intent and sent notifications to all principal investigators in early October. If you submitted an LOI but did not receive notification, please contact us immediately.
If you received an invitation to submit a full proposal, the deadline is December 15, 2009, 5:00 p.m. PST.
