Julio Andujo was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Andujo attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in actuarial science. He earned a Masters of Divinity degree from the Garret-Evangelical Theological Seminary at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Andujo has been ordained both deacon and elder in the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church. He is also in Full Connection in the same denomination. Julio's past pastorates include churches in Danville, Illinois, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and an assistantship in Chicago, Illinois.
Andujo is currently the pastor of the Amos Temple CME Church in Riverside, California. He has pastored Amos for the past 9 years where the church has purchased a new church, new parsonage, rental property, and 3 acres of land for expansion in the Woodcrest area of Riverside.
Andujo's ministry is characterized by a strong preaching and teaching emphasis. He has taught thousands through Bible studies at the National Youth and Young Adult Conferences of the CME Church, preached nationally at the CME General Conference, and has taught various seminars on relationships, stewardship, soul-winning, and numerous other topics.
Andujo serves as the regional coordinator of the Southern California Region for his denomination. He is married to Dr. Patricia Andujo who is a Professor of English at Azusa Pacific University.
