USC provost emeritus Lloyd Armstrong Jr. considers how universities can encourage creativity in groups and individuals.

He spoke on November 6, 2006 as part of the USC Templeton Lecture Series.

University Professor Lloyd Armstrong Jr. oversaw some of the most significant academic advances in USC’s history, and served as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs from 1993 to 2005. He is credited with driving the academic programs which have resulted in USC’s dramatic rise in various national rankings over the past decade.
