Catholic sisters run schools, hospitals and large charitable organizations across Africa, often without a lot of training in accounting and finances.
Sisters Leadership Development Initiative (SLDI) finance workshops teach sisters how to manage the finances of their congregations and its ministries with the latest technology so that they can be accountable to donors. Through SLDI and its other programs, the African Sisters Education Collaborative helps Catholic sisters undertake essential ministries with the proper credentials, knowledge and skills.
