April 7 marks the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Rwanda Genocide. To mark the day, Voice of America featured Donald and Lorna Miller’s new book, Becoming Human Again: An Oral History of the Rwanda Genocide Against the Tutsi. The University of California Press book is based on interviews with hundreds of survivors of the genocide.
The pain is ongoing, the video points out, “and it continues in an economic level. It also continues in the sense of trauma,” said Donald Miller, CRCC’s co-founder and Director of Strategic Initiatives.
